About Us

The Bodhi Bus was established in March 2009 to offer remote communities a reliable and professional bus passenger service which aims to improve access to regional centres across the Top End for remote area residents.

Many of our clients use our services to access medical care, retail businesses and a wide range of government departments and services.

Our fleet currently consists of two Mercedes 39 seater Axor Trucks, one Mercedes 31 seater Axor 4WD Truck, one Troop Carrier, a Brahman 28 seat AWD mini-coach and three 34 seater MAN Coaches which are fully air conditioned and customized to suit travel in remote areas. With our own in-workshop mechanic, our fleet is maintained to the highest standard to ensure their reliability in the rough dirt road conditions.

The Lajamanu route service on Tuesday, January 20th was unable to cross the Camfield river as it was in flood. It turned around at Top Springs and returned to town. According to Road Report NT, it has since subsided so barring any further rain or changes in road conditions we will try again on Saturday.
