About Us

The Bodhi Bus was established in March 2009 to offer remote communities a reliable and professional bus passenger service which aims to improve access to regional centres across the Top End for remote area residents.

Many of our clients use our services to access medical care, retail businesses and a wide range of government departments and services.

Our fleet currently consists of two Mercedes 39 seater Axor Trucks, one Mercedes 31 seater Axor 4WD Truck, one Troop Carrier, a Brahman 28 seat AWD mini-coach and three 34 seater MAN Coaches which are fully air conditioned and customized to suit travel in remote areas. With our own in-workshop mechanic, our fleet is maintained to the highest standard to ensure their reliability in the rough dirt road conditions.

Updates

Unfortunately, more rain has fallen overnight and it was reported that the Camfield River was running at 1m over the road and rising, so the Lajamanu route service has been cancelled for Feb 2nd and 3rd. Those passengers who attempted to travel will be rescheduled to Saturday’s run. If you are unsure whether you are booked on, please call the office on (08) 8971 0774 to confirm.

Unless there is unexpected rain overnight, the Lajamanu route service will be travelling tomorrow (Feb 2nd) and returning Wednesday

Today’s (Jan 30th) Lajamanu run has been turned back at Top Springs due to rivers running high and closing the road. Passengers are asked to call the office and reschedule to Tuesday’s run (Feb 2nd). We apologise for any inconvenience.
