About Us

The Bodhi Bus was established in March 2009 to offer remote communities a reliable and professional bus passenger service which aims to improve access to regional centres for remote area residents.

Many of our clients use our services to access medical care, retail businesses and a wide range of government departments and services.

Our fleet currently consists of two Mercedes 40 seater Axor Trucks, one Troop Carrier and three 22 seater Coaster Buses which are fully air conditioned and customized to suit travel in remote areas. With our own in-workshop mechanic, our fleet is maintained to the highest standard to ensure their reliability in the rough dirt road conditions.

Updates

Our Numbulwar route service is now in operation as of the 13th of May 2013. We offer two services a week, departing Katherine Mondays and Thursdays, returning Tuesdays and Fridays. For bookings please contact our office Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm and Saturday between 8am and 12pm. Regards, The Bodhi Bus Staff.

Services

Due to the excessive times taken for pickups in the mornings, we will be no longer offering a Door to Door services.  All pick up and drop of locations can be found on the Route Services page.

Any passengers wishing to use Centerpay for travel must be booked prior to travel. No walk-ups will be accepted unless paying with cash. All bookings can be directed through our office on 0889710774. Office Hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, 8:ooam to 12:oopm Saturday. No bookings will be accepted after these times.
